Project Description
Project Objective:
Expansion of the High-Luminosity LHC to significantly increase luminosity; construction of new engineering structures and underground caverns at Point 5 (CMS detector), including complex construction works within an active research environment.
Project Scope:
Engineering and construction services under demanding geological and operational conditions; specialized shafts, tunnels, and caverns with complex interfaces between construction execution, plant engineering, and ongoing research operations.
Result
The early structuring of claim and billing processes, combined with clear interface coordination, significantly reduced claim risks and ensured transparency between construction teams, suppliers, and the research unit.
